there are two ways in the windows where you can hide your file one is through file explorer and another one is through the command prompt. in the just tutorial, I am going to show you, first in file explorer, how you can hide files and show your files in the windows 10 and 2nd one is by using command prompt.
How to hide file and folder using windows explorer
Open windows explorer and navigate to the file which you want to hide.
Right-click on the file and click on the properties option.
Now right-click on the file select properties tab. you can see in the general tab there is the hidden option you just tick that hidden option.
And click on ok.
By default windows 10 hide that file.

If you want to unhide that file then just go to the View option on the top of the title bar and on the right-hand side, we will see the hidden option just un-tick on that.
What if you want to access the hidden file directly without unhiding it. So if you want to access hidden files then you need to remember the path of the hidden file.
Hide windows 10 file using command prompt (show hidden files windows 10 )
Click on the windows button and type CMD. And press enter.
Type cd and path of the file which you want to hide.
You can replace the path of the file by using your own file path.
and enter command- Attrib +h “name of the folder or file”
To hide files or folder inside the main hidden folder navigate to the Main folder and enter the following command
Attrib +h /s /d
If you want to unhide the hidden files through command prompt navigate to the hidden folder.
Type the following command
Attrib -h “name of the folder”
